I have a suggestion for the range builder feature. Right now we see how much our memorized strategy overlaps with actual GTO strategy in in terms of percentages, which in my opinion is not the optimal way to get feedback. So an example is that I studied a 9-max ante BTN vs BB SRP continuation bet strategy on T94 rainbow 150% size for BTN. When I fill in the memorized strategy after studying the board (a bit simplified of course) I get an 85% score, which is decent, but I don’t get any feedback how much EV my simplified strategy is losing compared to the GTO strategy.
There is another way to see how much the memorized strategy is losing compared to GTO strategy, but it’s very laborious: using the nodelock feature and fill in the memorized strategy from scratch. In that way I can compare the nodelocked sim with the standard GTO sim, and see how much EV my simplified strategy loses compared to GTO.
I think getting feedback in total EV loss compared to GTO strategy is more important than how much our strategy overlaps in terms of percentages, because I don’t care whether a combination should bet 75% or 45% of the time. I want to see how much my simplified strategy is losing compared to the optimal strategy.
So my simplified strategy gets a score of 85% in the range builder feature, but only dips from 7.03 to 7.02 EV if I make use of the nodelock feature, which is 99.9% retention of the EV a GTO strategy generates.
