GTO Wizard Ultra Group

💡 Suggestion: Multi-User / Group Plan between Elite and Ultra

I’d like to suggest a new subscription option that could potentially make Ultra accessible to a much larger group of players while also increasing GTO Wizard’s revenue.

Looking at the current pricing:

Elite: $129/month annually
Ultra: $229/month annually
Ultra monthly: $279/month

There seems to be a pretty significant gap between Elite and Ultra.

I think there are many players who would love to have Ultra, but simply cannot justify paying $229/month for a poker study tool. At the same time, Elite may not provide enough value for what they are looking for.

What about a Multi-User Ultra plan?

For example:

Ultra Group — $499/month
→ Up to 3 individual users
→ Each user has their own login/account
→ Full Ultra features
→ Cannot be used by more than the allowed number of users simultaneously

That would work out to roughly $166/user/month, making Ultra considerably more affordable for players who study together.

From GTO Wizard’s perspective, I think this could actually be an interesting business opportunity.

For example:

3 users buying Elite individually = $387/month
1 Ultra subscription = $229/month
3 users buying a $499 Group plan = $499/month

So instead of potentially losing those customers because Ultra is too expensive, GTO Wizard could capture $499 from a group of players who might otherwise never purchase Ultra.

And the same concept could potentially scale:

2 users — ~$349/month
3 users — ~$499/month
5 users — ~$799/month

Obviously, the exact pricing and number of seats would be up to GTO Wizard, but the general idea is to create a product between Elite and individual Ultra pricing.

I think this could also be marketed toward poker study groups, coaching groups, stables, friends who study together, and small teams of players.

The important part would be giving each person their own GTO Wizard login, rather than having people share credentials. That would make it much easier to control usage and could also make the plan attractive for legitimate study groups.

Why I think this could work

There is currently a big jump from $129 → $229/month.

A multi-user plan creates another option:

“I can’t justify $229/month by myself, but I can find 2 friends and pay ~$166 each.”

From the customer’s perspective, the effective price becomes much more manageable.

From GTO Wizard’s perspective, you’re potentially turning one price-sensitive customer into 2–5 paying users under a higher-value subscription.

I obviously don’t know your internal costs, retention numbers, or how much Ultra users cost to serve, so you guys would know the economics much better than I do. But I think this could be an interesting way to capture a segment of customers who currently sit in the gap between “Elite is affordable” and “Ultra is too expensive.”

Would love to see something like a GTO Wizard Ultra Group / Team plan considered! 🚀
